A. Estero Island is also known as Ft. Meyers Beach, located on the gulf in southwest Florida.

A. Southwest International Airport is located just south of Ft. Meyers, approximately 25-30 minutes from the resort.

A. The retreat package does not include any air or ground transportation to or from the resort. There are several ground transportation companies to choose from at the airport.

A. For each room reserved, there is one parking space available. You will receive a parking pass upon registration. All additional vehicles will require valet parking, at a cost of $5.

A. No, being a breast cancer survivor is not a prerequisite to attend this event. As the title suggest, this event has been designed with the breast cancer survivor in mind with the seminar structured to assist and encourage. All attendees will be able to benefit from the information presented.

A. We want you to enjoy this experience! Being that we do not have medical personnel on staff, we leave it to your personal discretion as to whether you are ready to attend.

A. This whole retreat is designed with the woman in mind. Everything from the carriage ride, to the facials and massage are all about the woman. Your husband (man) may feel a little out of place.

A. The retreat and the amenities are designed for adults. There are no babysitting facilities available. In general, this retreat is not conducive for children. Our recommendation is that all participants be 18 or older.    

A. The first night’s dinner and all lunches are the responsibility of each guest. Any purchases not included in the package will also be your responsibility.

A. There is a grocery service available that ensures you never have to stop having fun at our Fort Myers Beach retreat. Simply leave your list with the front desk, head out on your adventures and return to a refrigerator stocked with your favorite refreshments, snacks and meals.

A. “Smart casual” attire is recommended for scheduled events. We suggest you dress according to the weather and your personal comfort.

A. The Pink Shell Resort offers grocery service, a convenience store/gift shop, room service, and two restaurants. Bongo’s offers casual dining by the pool; and Jack’s offers fine dining with a beautiful, gulf view. The resort is located just 4 blocks from Time Square where you will find the pier, many restaurants, souvenir shops, and local clubs. A trolley stops in front of the resort every 30 minutes.

A. All offers and amenities are optional, though we highly recommend that you take advantage of everything offered in the package. This is your get-away retreat, and we want you to do whatever you feel is paradise to you!

A. Our Ladies Cancer Retreat events are offered at a discounted rate for our Stage 4 Cancer fighters and survivors. 

A portion of the sales from the Girls Getaway Retreats will be put toward helping other women with Stage 4 Cancer attend a special event: The Ladies Cancer Retreat. An event that was created so women fighting Stage 4 Cancer, and Stage 4 Cancer survivors, can meet other brave and courageous women, like themselves, that they can relate and connect to. By attending a Girls Getaway Retreat event you are directly supporting women with cancer in need of connection, support, and pampering during this incredibly difficult time in their life.
